With a pentax SLR camera, it keeps showing "av--" on the display(it wont let me capture)how can i fix this? I believe this was after i took out the lens, just so that I could wipe off some dust that was gathering up. When I put it back on, the "av --" kept flashing. It will not let me take a picture for film bodies, the last person is correct. Set the aperture ring to "A". It is the ring closest to the camera body. It sounds like you might have just hit it and moved it over when taking the lens off. Many of the newer Pentax film cameras need it to be on A or the camera will not work. |
