Anyone know the official policy on bringing cameras to concert in San Jose? Specifically Bon Jovi at HP, SJ-CA

I'm going to the bon jovi concert next Tuesday night at HP pavilion in San Jose, CA and I want to find out what the official policy is on bringing in digital cameras to the arena.

Specifically, is there a limit on the size of the lense?

I have a digital SLR with a zoom lens and am worried they're going to turn me away at the door.

Thanks for your answer!
JS

I went there a few years ago and here is what the ticket said on its front: All Cameras and Recording Devices are Prohibited

and on the backside:

"Prohibited items that are discovered during inspections at the venue entrances must either be returned to the owner鈥檚 vehicle or discarded. The concert facility will not provide a storage area for these items. Unlawful items that are discovered during security inspections are subject to being confiscated and the person in possession of those items is subject to arrest. Guests arriving by mass transit must take particular caution not to bring any prohibited items, as no exceptions will be made."

The only DSLR's in the venue were being carried by photographers who had both press credentials and venue press passes.

Night concerts?
Do not bring a large bag that security might think has a gun or knife. They can get your name and put it on the internal company 'credit report'.
If you can 'monogram' the bag, or itch your name on the camera thats better.
Do not put your address, phone, .. on the bag, put the city. If the camera's lost it might be turned in to 'lost and found department' thats all you need a name on it.

I was just at the Shamrock vs. Le fight at the HP Pavilion. Cameras with lenses shorter than 6 inches were allowed. Nothing bigger, unless you had a press pass. I recommend you just calling them to be safe though, as the concerts might vary from other events at the Shark Tank. I know for the Sharks, you can bring in an DSLR as long as its under 6 inches as well.
