Are there any sites (UK) where you can borrow stuff from people in your area?? |
I need to borrow an SLR camera in Ilford for about a week All over Britain there are Photographic clubs all allied to the Photographic alliance of Great Britain (PAGB).Ours is in Yorkshire but if they follow the pattern of those up here there are loads of enthusiasts who are only to pleased to help you,and often are stuck for things to photograph.Alternatively there are large photo retailers who do have hire facilities, check out your local camera shops for local contacts as a personal approach is more likely to achieve success with people loaning their precious cameras.. Try freecycle its a yahoo group and you can narrow it down to your local area, you can post a wanted ad there and you may even get to keep the item!! |
