I dropped my SLR!!!! HELP!!!!!!?

So I dropped my SLR from a desk to the floor, and the camera was in a case. Its about a 2.5 foot drop and the floor is a soft carpet. Now it wont work. it makes a clicky sound when I try and take a picture. I took off the lens and I cant get it back on either. (I don't really know how to put that particular one back on) HELP!!!!!!

Take the camera and lens to a real camera store - one that only sells cameras, not 10,001 other things and cameras. Unfortunately, your warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse - dropping the camera or getting it wet. You will have to pay for any repairs.

Most every camera I've seen with interchangeable lenses has a red dot on the body and on the lens. Align the red dots and your lens should twist right on.

It could be that you damaged the auto focus motor and/or lens mount. If you have another lens, try it and see if it works fine. That could tell if you damaged the lens or the camera itself. In either case go to a local Photography/Camera shop and have them perform any repair work.
