Does the megapixel of the camera affect the resolution of the video?
Also, I would GREATLY appreciate if you could help me picking out a camera.
I need a new camera and I go to a lot of rock concerts (in the pit) so I specifically need these features for video recording:
1. good optical zoom (not digital because it comprimises the integrity)
2. Also one that works in low-light situations
3. One that has good video stabilization
4. Is pretty small so I can stick it in a pocket.
I would love to have a good camcorder, but most camcorders are too large, so... i wouldnt be able to sneak it in, therefore, my choices revert to cameras. my suggestion

a mega pixel has 1000 pixels.
so if u want a picture with a resolution of 640x480 just times those numbers together... and it comes out to be that u need a .3 megapixel camera. |
