I took a 3 minute movie on my digital camera and uploaded it to my PC. I tried to upload the video to youtube but it said that it had to be under 100mb! My video is 300mb! How do I make it smaller? Thanks You can import it into Quicktime and then instead of "save as" you can select "share". Then it will ask you how you want to share it- if you select email it might compress it down to like 30 megs- you can play around with the file size of the output and just know that one 95meg in size might actually come out a little better looking than one that's a total 99.99meg. I did one that looked better at 30meg than it did at 70 meg, so like I said I would just play around with it and name the outputted files something like "MyMovie100x300at30fps" This way you can go back through and keep track of the frame rates and the display size while you figure out which ones work the best for you. Use the Riva Encoder (FREE). It will convert the video the FLV format, which is much smaller.
