How do you make a jpg picture smaller in order to send through email?

I have taken a bunch of pictures with a digital camera and noticed that they are huge in size!!! How do I decrease the jpg in order to send them through email?

If you have Windows XP, the fastest way to shrink them is to right-click on the photo and select "send to mail recipient." Windows will ask you if you want to send the full-size image or a smaller size.

If you don't have Windows XP, there are many, many programs out there that will let you resize photos. I really like InfanView, which is free. It also allows you to do a lot of other things with your photos, like batch rename, auto-rotate, organize, etc.

Do you have Adobe Photoshop or any other good photo editing program. No, not Microsoft Paint!! If you do, then open your file, choose "Save As", Set the Size and hit "Save"

right click the picture file and scroll to open with... click paint... on the menu click image... scroll down to stretch/skew in the % boxes type 25 in both... click ok... on the menu click file... scroll down to save as... and save it where ever you need it.

Use the "Image resizer" available for free download from microsoft. It will add a "resize" option to your right-click menu.
