As an amateur photographer how can i start selling pictures?

I have a nice digital camera (EOS 20D) and have been shooting for a year or so now. I have some pictures that I really like and have received great feedback on. If I wanted to sell a few shots how should I proceed?
Should I try to sell prints, and if so where should I get them made? If I knew where to get some good prints made I found a small college gallery that hosts and sells for regional artist. Is something like this my best bet?

Looking for the "correct" starting point more than anything I suppose.

artwanted.com allows you to post 3 new images every month. yes i kno, not a lot but youll get there. other artists view your work and give you feedback and you can also sell them! otherwise i would suggest going to an arts festival or something like that and get a booth to sell them there.
