I just saw a fly in my kitchen that had a little white "bubble" coming out of its mouth, looked like a pearl.

Does anyone know what this is? I was fascinated, so I grabbed my digital camera and took a couple of pics. While I was doing this, the fly inhaled the bubble or otherwise made it disappear. But in a few moments, it blew it out again, another little pearl hanging off its mouth or nose. It didn't seem hollow, the bubble seemed full. It was small and cute. Ever heard of this? I tried to figure it out by googling images, but nothing came up. (Very few fly pictures, in fact.) I need an insect person for this one, Thanks a lot.

That was fly snot... yes, fly boogers!

There is no other explanation. The poor fly might of had a cold.

Don't you have anything else to do but watch flies. Why not just kill the nasty thing.
