How do i reduce the size of a video file?

I have this video clipping on taken on my digital camera of my son, and want to email it to my sister, but the size is 74MB.Is there any way to make the size small without editing any part of the video?
I tried to zip the file but it wont help.

Try To download 3GP software which will make that 74 MB into 7 or 5 MB file but it will reduce the clarity a bit but very useful for transferring the video files.

If you can you should just make a new shorter video, if ther's nothing that important on it.

Encode it in to a smaller video frame size....such as mpeg or WMV....U need a video encoder for this. U can check http://www.imtoo.com/ or www.mainconcept.com to download a good encoder....( U LL have to pay a small fee ) then U input ur original video and encode it to a lesser video frame size. Thats is so simple u can download alot software from www.torrentspy.com or www.torrentdtive.com just click at advanced search and then write there vedio shrink it will give u alot of software for this purpose u can download that software by utoorent,bitlord,or bitcometinstall that software and do what u want. bye
