What is the best way that the traveller exchange electronic information with another traveller?

On the move without mains electrics, and neither of the parties is carrying a laptop computer. Is there a method to transfer information from one gadget to another, e.g. from the small memory cards found in pen USB cards, digital cameras, mobile phones, MP3 players etc.
