I have a small makeup store where I do makeovers. I would like to purchase a digital camera with printer to take before and after photos of clients. The camera should idealy have a 3" LCD screen and a powerful flash since the lighting is not always the best. It is of course important to get excellent quality photos and prints. Any ideas? Savage makes a nice background holder for under $110 which is portable and has a carrying case.
Since you are using a digital camera, consider getting an inexpensive, single incandescent light (Lowel makes a great one called a Tota).
Powerful flash units can cost up to $1000 each and then you would need a digital camera that has an external flash shoe. More big money.
I have used the above set-up to shoot using an old Nikon Coolpix 990 with outstanding success.
To make sure you can make the quality prints you need, just buy a camera with at least a 3x OPTICAL zoom, 7mp or better sensor and maybe one that has Image Stabilization (IS or VR) and uses the SD memory card (this will increase your choices in cameras now and later) |
