Photo Editing, NEED HELP!?

Okay, I have alot of pictures on my Pc downloaded from my Digital Camera and I want to make it smaller, but Doing it in adobe photoshop one by one takes way too long... Is there a program out there that would change multiple pictures size at one time? If any is there a program made by Adobe that would be able to do it?

Ignore the first post, indeed there is such a program which can accomplish the task at hand, In fact you were on the right path when you started using Photoshop, however you probably didnt know about a feature called batch processing. Batch processing allows you to automate repetivive tasks in Photoshop like scaling images. Check out the link below which describes exactly what you are looking for.

Hi, I recommand you to try google picasa.

picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.

It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video flips.

It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google

Download it free in here:

Good Luck!

I use Picasa but I'm not aware of the ability to resize multiple photos all at once. Being into photography, and as many photos that end upon my computer, I burn them onto a disk. If you have a CD burner this is what I would suggest to you. That way you also won't accidentally make any images too small for printing.

When you get them burned onto a disk you can then delete them from your computer and free up that space. It also doesn't hurt to make back up copies of any disks that may have special occasions on them in case the disk gets ruined or the data corrupted.

The simplest and fastest way to do this is to use the Microsoft PowerToy - Image Resizer. It's a small download from Mocrosoft that adds a choice to the context menu in Explorer. You simply select all the photos you want to resize, right-click, and select Resize Pictures. You can choose a standard size or enter custom dimensions. The tool requires Windows XP.

I do it in Photoshop all the time. I load in a set of photos, click on one, and resize and save it as an action. Then as fast as you can click on the remainder and run the action it will resize them and save them. Doesn't take long at all.
