Deployment question....any branch, any location....? |
Which is better to have, a digital camera or a camcorder? I have found some really small camcorders that are also a digital camera and MP3 player and other things, but the quality isn't as good. these are the camcorders I've found: i had a digital camera that could do 60 second films. they have them at every PX everywhere. i bought two in iraq and one at home on leave, the dust dosent like electronics. so if yours goes out you can always buy another. my advise tho: at least once per week(if you are a shutterbug like me) upload your pics to your yahoo photos account. they will be safe and your family and friends can see them. and you can sort public and private photos. just be sure that you dont put any pics in the memory if the "post " computers... upload directly from the camera. CID finds lots of interesting information being photographed if you dont know how to do that, ask me. goodluck! The digital camera is most important. A real good quality digital camera is better and it takes very good pictures. DIGITAL CAMERA WITH RECORDING CAPABILITIES. THE SMALLER THE ITEM IS THE BETTER OFF YOU? WILL BE Personally I wouldn't waste my time and effort taking pictures. I'd be trying to keep my *** and my friends ALIVE. Just got back from a year in Iraq. If you can take just one good still photograph, you'll have something to cherrish for the rest of your life. While video's are nice as you point out, they just don't have the quality. Good digital camera. You can email the pictures home as you fill the memory stick. digtial camera, the quality is more important. dee dee, get a nice digital camera that allows you to also record videos depending on the memory. i got a nikkon for like 300 or so. with a 30m card i could record up to 12 min. of video and like 40 pics. if you ever run out all you have to do is save you card data on a computer and you can always buy more cards as well. i suggest two or three im in the army and been to iraq twice. both times i had my panasonic lumix digital camera and it also takes videos with sound and they are easy to download to your computer, just hook up the camera via usb cable and drag and drop. the camera has had no problems through all the sand and mud and me occasionally falling on it and i get pics and vids and it is small and convenient. i would go with a digital camera like mine. ur a DEE DEE DEE; |
