What's the easiest way to convert avi movies into wmv files?

My digital still camera can record small movies in avi format, but windows movie maker doesn't like those. Any suggestions?

Oh, turns out the camera makes MOV files. I need to know how to convert MOVs to WMVs (is there a good freeware program out there?)

i am pretty sure WMM can take .Avi videos... if not, just download divx codec, And to convert a .mov to a .avi just search ".avi converter" or ".mov converter"
