okay i need a digital camera that is small light weight an compact but really good quality for taking pictures for my last day of school help me please asap

Sony makes the best ultra compact cameras, in my opinion. The cheapest is the DSC W20, albeit it's not cheap by camera standards and should be considered a luxurious model (you may want to look for older Sony models such as the DSC T10). Canon makes some less compact cameras, but they are still worth considering. Such as the SD1000, which is more budget-friendly. Honestly, if you don't need a lot, you may want to look at some older Canon models like the SD 600, which sold by the millions. Other compact models I would recommend would be Nikon's S9, S8, or S7 models; they're not as good in terms of features and image quality, but worth considering, and they're extremely compact. Oh yeah, just a word of advice, if you will be taking photos in dim situations like indoors, you'll probably want optical image stabilization. Just something to look for while you shop.
As for the really quality part, I wouldn't worry about it unless you're an actual photographer, or want to get into photography. Generally, a good majority of mainstream cameras on the market today have sufficient quality in sufficient lighting. Actually, to be very frank, since you're asking this question, you're not likely to notice the difference in image quality between two cameras.
Brands to stay away from are Kodak, and Casio. But as I mentioned, if you can't tell the difference in image quality, these brands may work for you.
