Digital cameras...aah!? |
The camera was taking great pictures, so that when I opened them up on Adobe photoshop, they would be nice and clear and easy to zoom in on and work with. I don't know who played with the camera or what, but now, the JPEG image sizes are coming up smaller when I transfer them to the computer, obvioulsy meaning they are less clear/ more blurry, and not at all what we want! Is there any way to make the image larger once you've transferred the file? I hate the poor quality and have no idea how to fix it once the picture's taken and downloaded. Thanks if anyone out there can help me ! Thanks for the answers so far everyone. I know it doesn't shrink during the transfer, I just don't know how the images began to be taken in such smaller sizes...even after playing around with all the menus/ settings on the camera, I couldn't figure out what to tweak. But thanks anyway, and if anyone else out there has some helpful input, I would really appreciate it. Thanks again! There could be a few issues here. I your camera is rated to take 6 megapixels, it means that this is the maximum size it will take. This does not happen all the time. If you take photos indoors or at night (low light), the camera may take it at 4 or 3 megapixels. However, under broad daylight, your camera will ususally take the maximum size. Once it's transferred, I don't know. I don't think there is. Seems like the easiest way is to not let anyone else touch your camera, if possible, once you have it set up the way you like. not to Offend, but are you sure you had the image setting at its highest MP before you took the pics? The transfer process does not reduce the size of the images. sorry don't know. call the maker of the camera tech department, they will walk you through resetting you image file. |
