NEW CAMERA WANTED! iDK what to get!?

I looking to get a new digital camera but i am not sure what to get! I want a camera that has a big screen and is small. Other than that i really don't have any other specifics. I don't really need all that many MegaPixles becuase i am not taking anything profesional. I would like it to be no more that $250.00 but i don't want anything cheap either. THanks!!

The Canon Powershot series are amazing cameras. I have the SD600 and it takes the quickest and sharpest pictures I have ever seen on a 6MP camera. It has so many features that it would be too long to list here. Click on the link below for Amazon's page and descriptions of their SD750. Don't take my word for it, read the reviews.

You should really try and get a camera with as many megapixels as you can afford. You can always adjust the quality down, but you can't squeeze more out of it. With the 6MP and up cameras, you will be blown away by how amazing your pictures will turn out -- professional or not, at least you won't have to be embarrassed by being that person in the family that sends out those horrible 2MP pictures. UGH!

You can easily find a Powershot SDxxx for under $250, just Google around for it.

By now you should be able to get the Canon SD700 at that price. I have it, it's very good. Takes excellent movies too.

The Canon PowerShot A630. 4X optical zoom, 8 megapixels.
The Sony Cyber-shot W-55. A decent small camera that comes in pink. I guess that's a bit cutsie.

I recommend the Canon A570 IS. You won't regret purchasing it. It takes nice pictures and also within your budget.
