I need to buy a new digital camera for my trip to Europe this summer. I was going with a money belt and leaving my purses in the states. Is it safe to bring a camera case? Should I get a single strap to attach to the camera around my neck? Any suggestions on a really small pocket sized camera perhaps? u really dont need to worry about this so much.u can carry yr camera on yr belt(all digital cameras are are pretty light weight and provided with a case and a strap that can can be worn on the belt so u dont need to buy anything extra unless it is tripod
.while travelling u can carry the camera in yr hand bang or belt both.wearing it on yr belt makes it pretty convinient to take it out whenever u want to shoot anything.
wearing in yr neck is also not a bad option but it sometimes brings on tiredness on neck muscles and u hav to be extra careful while bending or passing through crowd..it shakes a lot
i have been all over europe in all temperatures and crowd and i find belt device more convinient. if your camera is pretty lightweight, it should be plenty safe to loop it around your belt loop when you're not using it. but if you feel more comfortable or safe with it across your shoulder, then by all means get one. it's all about what makes you feel safest. Stay alert and aware of your surroundings and you'll be fine.
but make sure you've got enough memory! it's europe! you'll probably want a ton of pics! |
