What's a good digital camera to purchase?

Am looking for something relatively small (doesn't have to be tiny) and not extremely expensive. Thanks!

Kodak easy share.. It's reasonable, and easy to use. Try Walmart. Cost about 80.00

Go to www.dcresource.com, and look at the reviews. The reviews are amazing, and there is approximate cost listed too. I never buy a camera without checking this site - I can spend hours on it! They have general reviews, and then in-depth reviews. Look at the in-depth ones. I made a spread sheet with all of the features I wanted and then spent days on the site. I found the perfect camera in my price range, with all of the extras I wanted.

canon elph's are easy to use and nice and small but it really depends on what you plan to use it for.

digital camera's are usually expensive. try buying a used one from a reputed seller on ebay or find another way to save money on your purchase.

I love my 4MP Kodak EasyShare with optical zoom. I'm not a serious photographer, but I do like my pictures to turn out nice, and this little camera has a lot of options on the type of picture you want to take so every shot looks pretty darn good. You can also choose to have regular color pictures, black and white pictures, or the reddish-tinted ones, right on the camera. The thing has been dropped, swung around, soaked (on a whale watch boat in a hail storm!) jostled, bumped, and sat on, and it's still not showing any damage. Just make sure you have good rechargeable batteries for it--it eats them up pretty fast.

get a Canon

Canon PowerShot cameras cannot be beaten, they have an array of simple point-and-shoot cameras... to small cameras for amateur photographers. The prices range as well, but if your shopping online I suggest you take a look at a Canon.
