What is the best digital camera for the money out there today?

Im looking for something that is small, compact, with high megapixels, easy functionality and great features.

Canons are the best for digital. It has lower noise(grain) and more detail on its pictures.

I personally love the Kodak Easy Share line, they have them starting at 99$ and going up to around 500.....they are very light weight, but most of all they are not very high tech. They are super easy to use. I would recommend them to anyone for any occasion! The pictures always come out looking professional. I have had mine going on 4 years and it's still going strong! They have very neat functions but are easy to use!

I consistently rate the Fuji F20 ($150) as the best digicam for the money. It has 'only' 6Mpix, but since its ccd is larger, will resolve detail as well as any 8Mpix camera. Its primary feature - other than excellent image quality and a low price, is its ability to work in lower light conditions. It has a clean ISO400, a very good ISO800 and a usable ISO1600. 2-3 stops better than any compact digicam. Rivaling the DSLRs.

I'm not saying that this is the best camera, just the best image quality for the price. There are so many other choices out there- it's pretty hard to really decide.
