I have a digital camera and under image resolution it says this. what is this exactly? is this for picture quality or picture size?
5M, 5M (3:2), 3M, 1,3M & VGA
and how can I make pictures smaller? cause when I put pictures on a computer, they are very big like 2576 x 1932
800 x 600 is enough. how do I make that? and I have Praktica. its a simple camera. To answer your first question, size and quality are pretty much the same. If 800x600 is enough for you and your camera has it then use it. 5M means 5 million pixels. 3:2 means it's a different ratio that the 4:3 of a normal digital picture. 3M means 3 million pixels. VGA is 640 by 480. It sounds like you want VGA.
Converting: There are computer programs that will do it. I use Irfanview. It has lots of convenient settings. |
