I'm looking for a compact digital camera for under $299?

The digital camera must cost less than $299 and have dimensions equal to or smaller than 3.7" x 2" x 0.9" and it must weigh less than 0.5 lbs. Please give me suggestions on what to buy.

I'd prefer not to buy a Sony camera because their proprietary memory cards are the most expensive on the market compared to SD flash memory.

I'm not sure on the exact dimensions, but some of the small cameras around that price and size are:

Casio Exilim and Kodak V530 / V 550.

I agree that the Casio Exilim is probably the smallest (don't know about the best). I'm not familiar w/ the Kodak line, but I also like the Canon SD series of cameras (ex SD600, etc). Report It

You can buy the Nikon 3.5 MP digital camera.
