What's A Good SLR Digital Camera?

I have 700 dollars set a side for a slr digital camera. Well the problem is I have pretty big hands and I don't want to make a mistake and get a camera that's way to small for my hands. Does anyone got any suggestions on what kind of slr digital camera I should get?

Figuratively speaking, there are many options that you can choose from there are many single lens reflex cameras you can choose from. you have nikon, canon, sony, pentax, and so much more, there are so much that you can choose from. some of my personal favourites are

1) Nikon d40
2)Canon 400d
3)canon 350d
4)Canon 300d

What I'd suggest is, compare the different cameras, in your price range at http://dpreview.com ... look at the different features, and see which appeal to you... then go to a real camera store, (not Best Buy or Wal Mart) and handle the different cameras, try them with different lenses, see which fits you best. Also try the smaller cameras, with a battery grip, this may be something that you could use to assist you with the big hands issue :)

Any of the entry level cameras would be quite suitable.

I suggest you go to the camera store and try out a few different cameras then pick one out... see what you're comfortable with.

I have the Canon Rebel XTi... it's a great entry-level DSLR, and the price has dropped a lot recently.

If you can find a Pentax K10D it's a decent size and it's fully featured.
