My heart is torn.Guys can move on this quick? Have you left someone or have been left like this?

He broke off our 4-year relationship (we lived together) to be with someone he met online through a video game. He cheated on me with the same girl he left me for. I鈥檝e been hurt and depressed for a while, but now I am feeling relieved and starting to see that it was perhaps for the best. He became very violent and aggressive towards me and my family. But anyway, they saw each other last week and within their first week of being together physically, they had their pictures taken professionally at JCpennys? At least within the circle of people I know, typically couples don鈥檛 take professional pictures together unless it鈥檚 for a special occasion. I mean I would understand the digital camera or small mall booth photos, but the professional ones? He was complaining about being in a committed relationship, yet it appears he is throwing himself into another and it is obvious that she is pushing it all and even identified herself as married to him, even though they鈥檙e not.

I am just analyzing and am a bit surprised that he is showing no signs of remorse for his selfish actions. And the day before he met this girl, he told me that he was still in love me. It makes me wonder if all those times that he said I was the source of all his anger were perhaps true, although it didn鈥檛 seem that way at the beginning of our relationship. While he鈥檚 having a blast, I鈥檓 stuck with our lease, cleaning the apartment, and being responsible for other financial obligations, which is ok. I鈥檓 not going to chase him for money, as I want my clean break no matter the cost.


Anyway, to give a little background info: she is bisexual, lives across the other side of the country, doesn't work, lives with her parents, but goes to school fulltime. He makes less than 27,000.00 annually, doesn't go to school, and plays videogames. He is 22, and she is 20. Before leaving me, he claimed to have wiped all his abusive mistakes with me. They appear happy now and I definitely won't bother intervening, because I still care about him and his happiness is most important to me. But it appears as if they're moving too fast? I don't want to be with him anymore, nor do I wish any harm upon anybody. I'm analyzing and wondering what you guys thought? I won鈥檛 muddy their waters. I am enjoying my freedom and know that I do have a lot to offer to a man who actually deserves it.

I am beautiful, faithful, and provided unconditional love. I covered a lot of this guy鈥檚 rough patches, and he took it all for granted. But I can鈥檛 change people.

This guy is an asshole! My dad who was verbally and physically abusive left my mom after 14 years of marriage to be with someone else and said to her all the mistakes he made in this marriage he wouldnt make in the second. THis guy clearly doesnt think you deserve anything so he wont give you anything. He doesnt respect you he takes you for granted so I think you should just forget about him, let him be. I believe all people realize their mistakes at one point of our lives because no matter how evil or bad our actions are we still all carry a heart and a conscience. Some people just realize too late. Just hope this girl treats him like ****:) and then hell be sorry he left you, but you wont give a **** about him because youll be with a guy who values your beauty and the unconditional love you give! You deserve respect! I have also been in two abusive relationships and trust me its not worth it, these people just take away the joy in your life, lower your selfesteem and make you forget the person you really are.

Some people can move swiftly from one relationship to another, paricularly if the latter relationship has been established for some time.

Many other people need time to get over the demise of a relationship.
