Best digital camera...?

im getting a new one for a graduation gift (early) so i can take some good pictures ... what is the best one i can get..i want it to take good quality pictures..video with noise and be small enough to carry around

Your question is probably a little too broad. There are many cameras and many brands that will do the job. You need to find out what type of photography you do. If you want to do low light shooting with a point & shoot (NOT dSLR), then Canon or Nikon is NOT the way to go. Most cameras will work nicely outdoors in sunlight. I will not tell you that one camera is better than the other because technically, some cameras are better for some things than others. For sports shooting (people running), then Canon, or Nikon is good. Canon has some of the best speeds. For no flash, low light, or portrait photography, a Fujifilm camera with Super CCD. Fuji has one of the best skin tones I have ever seen. I recommend you check out http://www.dpreview.com and look around. How I mentioned earlier, it depends what you are looking for.

I have a Cannon S4IS, the current model is an S5IS. I used to be a 35mm SLR person, but this camera bridges the gap between a point and click digital and an expensive and heavy SLR digital.

With a 12x optical zoom you can get up close to the action and with auto and manual settings you can set the camera like you would an SLR.

After taking thousands of photos with top of the line Nikon film equipment, I will never switch back to a bulky SLR. This little camera is awesome and for only a few hundred bucks.

I forgot, the video function is great as well. I don't even mess with my video camera any more, in fact I shoot highlights of my kids sport teams and using Imovie I make movies which are unbelievable.

get a sony cybershot they cost 280.00 at the store but cheaper online. but yea its small, portable and is nice looking. and it will take clear pictures. in a camera always look for megapixels the best ones are usually 8 megapixels

you want to get an olympus camera.
they are so durable and reliable, and they never brake.
if you go to office depot, they also give a free memory card and case,
and they arent too expensive.

there very good! oh my. dont buy a T.V brand camera like sony or fuji film they specialize in Tvs not cameras... buy a brand thats focused on cameras. like Canon or a Nikon

i have a kodak easy share. they come in lots of colors and are easy to connect to the computer. they come with all the software for your computer and they work well with the photo printer. i love mine. it takes great pictures!

sony is definitely the best quality you can get, and msot are very small and they come in fun colors like pink and blue and red

Mine.. lol I have a Casio Exilim, it came out last year. It takes great videos and awesome pictures. Its 7.2 mp and 3x zoom. Check it out! =)

any cannon camera would be a very good choice i have a powershot .... and it rules get a good printer too
