How can i resize (scale down) a picture from my digital camera?

i have the picture on my computer but the size is REALLY big. i tried right-clicking then hitting "edit" but that takes me into paint and since my monitor isnt very big i cant select the whole picture (only a part). is there any other way i can make the picture smaller?

keep the originals and backup on cd/dvd,
~you can resize copy with camera software, there should be viewer and edit feature in album , if not you can use photoshop or other to resize,

paint has stretch and skew option, but may be better to use other programs,

Just do it on Paint! It's really easy. Go to Image, then Stretch/Skew, then put whatever percentage you want! Usually I do 50%. Make sure on both Horizontal and Vertical you do the same percentage or your picture will turn out funny. Hope this helped!
