WHY did John McCain set up a FARCE town hall meeting? Has he no REAL supporters?

McCain's so called town halls are actually rallies hosted by the local Republican Party. The host, Chris Myers, identified himself as a local leader saying that New Jersey is going red because of the 2000 people in the gym. (About 1% of us were Obama supporters, someone held a sign up at the end, no one interrupted McCain's speech.) However if McCain can't fill a small gym in his only trip to New Jersey this month, his candidacy is in trouble.

The seating was staged. There were about 20 people with Veteran's hats and all were seated directly in line with McCain's podium in the front and back. Your cameras from home would make it appear that half the people there were veterans. In reality it was about 1%. Mixed into the Veterans was one angry woman who had a sign claiming she was a Hillary supporter voting McCain. This one sign was placed directly in the spot for cameras to pick it up. She was planted there.

Get serious, McCain invited Obama to debate him there, but we all know how Obama can't debate well. He's great at speeches, although he doesn't really say what changes are ahead, or anything really worthwhile. I'll take McCain any day.

Unlike the radical Obama supporters we do not feel the need to worship McCain. Hillary had the same type turn outs as McCain and got 18 million votes which was the same as Obama.

So far, except for the fact that old man McCain got shot down several wars ago, the republicans haven't given me any particular reason to vote for him. Mostly the GOP makes it point to tell me that Sen. Obama once knew a guy who knew a guy that said a bad thing, or 'broke the law' or horror of horrors, was a Chicago politician. Then there's something about a lapel pin they didn't like and evidently they don't care for his wife. Supposedly she said 'whitey' a couple of times.....wow...what a disqualifer! The whole process is staged. It is carefully scripted. They all kinds of writers and PR people and a whole team of people coordinating the election process.

The only reason we have 2 parties is so that Americans feel like they are participating in the process. People might get excited if we didnt at least get to vote. Even though you only get 2 choices. We have like 250 million people in the US, but only 2 choices for president.

You think either Obama or McCain is going to work for you. They didnt spend millions of dollars to get a 400k a year paycheck. Hundreds of millions of dollars are coming in. And the people who "donate" that money, are going to want something.
