Did anyone notice at the end of Cloverfield...?

Right at the end when they're on the ferris wheel, before the camera turns in to see either of them, it points out to sea. At the far right of the screen something falls from the sky into the sea but it's so small I just saw it out of the corner of my eye!!
Anyone else seen this? Or know what it could be?
Maybe it's just JJ Abrams messing with our heads as usual lol.
Oh and is there gonna be a Cloverfield 2? I heard there is but from the government's point of view instead.

my girlfriend pointed it out to me... I think it is a "clue" how the monster came... we had to replay it about four times to make sure that it was there......
I just hope it is not like blair witch two... the scary part of cloverfield was that you did not know what was going on

That thing is a satellite, it's part of the back story.

There might be a Cloverfield 2, but it will probably be a new story, set in Hawaii.

But actually, if you watch it again, you can see some other people filming on the Brooklyn bridge. I'd sure hope that they show it from those people's points of view.

I saw this, only because I heard about it and looked for it... even had to pause the movie and search for it...

It really doesn't look like anything to me though...

And Cloverfield 2, the same exact story just from a Military point of view would be awesome... some point during the movie they should cross paths with the people who were in the original, like when they went into the mall.

Wow! I didn't see that, but now I want to go back and watch it again just to look. I don't think that it's just Abrams messing with the audience, it definitely has to have something to do with the "monster" or whatever you want to call it. I thought that Cloverfield was an awesome movie... a sequel sounds really cool, I would go see it.

I heard that it was a satellite or something crashing to earth. I believe that it is was an egg or something like that. That's what's great about the movie it lets you come up with your own theory as to what actually happened.

There are lots of hidden things in that movie apparently. Although i can't remember them all individually. Check the net for it though and you should get a list of things to look out for.
