Movie Help?

Im making a scary movie but idk what the setting should be and what to do in the horror movie. (First time hehe and plus i only have this small camera but I really want a good movie) PLEASE HELP!

haha, i make movies so this should be good. It depends how many people you are using as main characters. The woods (Thanks to the person above me that said that!) are a great place. also try a nearby park or lake, because then you can have someone stalking another person, and they can run. Just make sure you get permission from your city if your selling, or showing this video to a film festival etc.
First time movie-ers should try to make a plot diagram (This helped alot!). Make a Straight line, then a big "Mountain" if you will. and label them. rising action, climax etc. you probably learned this in school. Also try writing a script, not totally word for word but close enough where you know what your doing and making sense of it. Also, you might want to look into buying or renting a tripod that holds your camera still

well easy way to make one successful, first step DARKNESS then you should know that horror movies also tend to be thrilling and breath taking so you'll need screams, surprises, and secrets. As for the setting you'll do good with changing locations so you could give a sense of like "everywhere you go he's around you" but the most important thing is to shoot it at night, also you might want to increase the level of fear and confusion in shaking the camera a bit i mean like when your running the camera is as if running with you going from side to side, scary movies are hard but they depend mostly on the acting and the thrill and don't forget Darkness

when making a movie, take stock of what you have available.
for example, in clerks...kevin smith knew he had access to a conv. store so he made his movie there. just look at what you have and if that selection is limited, it will kind of decide for you.
