What's up people with on Y!A not answering question, but instead...?

People on Y!A have forgotten the purpose of this board. I have been asking questions lately and I rarely get any answer anymore; I get responses either A) Critisizing a MINOR grammar mistake. B) Critisizing my question. or C) Critisizing me. This is not a MESSAGE BOARD. This is a place where people, like myself, can come ask anonymous questions and recieve anonymous answers & move on. Since when did "bashing" fall into it? If I wanted someone to judge me I would post a question saying "Will someone judge me?". Y!A wasn't like this a few months ago. What happened? It's not all the boards on here; the sports boards usually stay on topic, except for a few trolls every now and then. But the rest of the boards like photography, culture groups, psycology, etc. I believe pathetic people go there JUST to critisize. Anyone else see it? Irritated when you see you have "5 new answers" but no ones answered your question, but instead you have "thats spelled..." "this is a dumb..."?

The main reason for all these is the thumbs up business. people give thumbs up to the naughty & criticising answers.. slowly it has become like a habit..it has become a sort of fun.. earlier there was no thumbs up issue.. people used to reply to the asker by trying to give the best possible answer.. but now they are elated by getting thumbs up from others for silly & funny answers..we can't help it..

yes, you are cimpletely right. they critisize you then say "no offense, pick me as best answer!" or "thanks for two points!" it gets on my nerves too.

Johnny is right and you know it.

That is why there are other sections, so you can go other places to find an answer and be happy. If your questions are posted like this one, I can see why you wouldn't get many responses. You are nagging and carrying on.
