If you can afford it, how about a fishing license and a deep sea fishing trip! When the weather is warmer and calmer, of course.

If that's not your speed, maybe a subscription to a cool/popular magazine. My Husband drools when his auto magazines come in the mail! He's a big car fan too!

With all those hints, you should be able to know what to buy as gift for him. :)

get him a fly rod and reel along with some poppers, and flys. fly fishing is a real sport when it comes to fishing. let alone especially fun. i use to fish with a spin cast, until i picked up fly fishing, haven't used any other rod and reel since. you could also get him a tent and some camping gear.
