Girls: Can you sense if a guy is afraid of being alone?

I'm 25 and I know there is still plenty of time to find someone, but I have never had a girlfriend, and the longest I've dated one person was for 3 months.
I see my single uncles and aunts and their lives are meaningless disasters. At my age, they were attractive, motivated individuals but somehow they just didnt find anyone. It is frightening for me because I am the same way; I have so many things to be proud of, but being overlooked is slowly eroding my self-worth.
People tell me, join clubs, get hobbies to forget about it but better yet to be more interesting yet I look at my life, how much I pack it with activities (music, literature, photography); I look at my house, how it is filled with awards from competitive sports and academics, and just see a lonely man who surrounds himself with stuff to forget. I bet girls read into this too. How else could a man do so many things unless he's never had a significant other?

well, since you realize all that, then youre on the right track. how do you act with girls? dont come off all cocky, or acting like youre really special. dont be too cling-y either. maybe dont even invite them into your house for a while. a good quote is 'less history, more mystery.' dont talk or brag about all they things youve done or achievements youve accomplished, but instead, use it as something that you might have in common with someone. be someone pleasant to be around, someone who can make a girl laugh. dont be fake, because, eventually, she realize, youre not the person you first came off as. and please, please be optimistic. enjoy every day youre alive because it could be gone in an instant. good luck ;)
