Why are "nice guys" considered gay"? |
I'm 25/m with average looks, clean cut, have a good sense of humor, kind of shy and treat women with the respect they deserve. I guess you can say I'm a "nice guy". I don't have too much experience in relationships, but I think I would be a good boyfriend. Girls say, "I'm just looking for a nice guy" and they end up going out with a$$hole jocks that treat them like garbage. If they're looking for a "nice guy", why I'm single? Most all of my friends are female. I only have one guy friend, cause most guys are obnoxious, cocky and all they talk about is sports - stupid jocks. One of my friends thinks that it's because I have all female friends. That's stupid. I don't understand why girls think I'm gay. It's not like I prance around in my pink skin-tight shirt with the collar popped up and like interior decorating. I'm into working out at the gym, cycling, drawing, art, photography, practicing my guitar and piano. Could someone please shed some light on this for me? Thanks! Hey you sound wonderful to me! I love a mad with a good sense of humor and quick witted. But.... I also like knowing he has some of the typical male characteristic, like , he drinks beer, likes sports and can romance and defend me when needed. It sounds like you're a good listeners to the lady friends you have, so much so that they don't see you as a possible mate, perhaps a little more honestest when listening to their problems, (i.e., tell them they are being stupid to be attracted to a man you know is a jerk, be honest with them); I bet they'll start seeing you in a different light. All women want to know that their male friends are somewhat protective of them and have their best interest at heart. Also make your feeling known, i.e., that you're looking for a good woman. Sometime, us ladies can be awfully self absorbed in our own problems and not see the perfect man in front of us. Good luck, you sound wonderful! they are considered gay by ego boosting meat heads becasue they know how to treat a women. i really dont know for sure. sound great to me. i have alota friends like that though. they like to pretend they are gay though, and are good at it. Very good question. You sound pretty great to me. because girls know its to good to be true. duh what are you trying to get *** on yahoo? Quite frankly, you don't sound gay AT ALL! I don't know why these people are bothering you about this. Listen, those girls are not worth your time. You know who you are(NOT gay), and you just need to feel comfortable with that and wait for a girl who likes you, because trust me, someone will appreciate you a lot someday. My fiance is a "nice guy" I've known him since HS. He was thought to be gay to but is absolutely straight. I think that guys who know how to treat a female are better off because they I guess are better at being a boyfriend and don't discoount having female "friends" because he was my frined for over 13 years and we are getting married next june so don't give up just yet. |
