Photography Question - How Can I Make A www.fathead.com style wall sports poster? |
Can anyone tell me how I can make a Fathead poster of my own son or daughter wearing their own school teams uniform? I am looking for the photographic technique and equipment that it would take to make a Fathead quality poster. There has to be a way the common man can do that too. Right? Take the highest resolution photo you can with the camera set for the lowest ISO. Use a program like Noiseware (my personal favorite) to remove as much of the digital noise as possible. If you burn the image to a cd, you can bring it into places like Kinko's, as they have all the expertise and equipment to create large displays. After all, they do it for business and training backdrops all the time. They'll also be able to print it oversized on heavier stock, or can arrange to print it on vinyl if you choose. I hope this helps. Source(s): Amateur & professional photographer for 45+ years Sports photographer for SPMSportspage dot com http://www.spmsportspage.com/images/coll... Check on some of the inventive sites like Instructables.com, or you may possibly find it in your printers site. Some printers with the correct software are capable of this already. On the first site I mention I've seen 3-d style photos and even poster size pics. turne into wall or floor tiles!!!! Be sure if you use your printer program to run a test first so you don't ruin high dollar paper, as some are'nt capable of printing clear images. If you have troubles consult your local Kinko's or other copy shop they may possibly have a better solution. I know my mother use Kinko's for her quilt transfers and many other problematic photo items!!! |
