Can I sell photographic prints without a model/property release? |
I've been selling my photography through stock agencies just over a year now and want to delve into self-publishing and print sales. My question is: can I sell prints or use a shot in a self-published calendar of say an antique car that still has the BMW symbol or Ford, or maybe a print of a building that for stock that would require a release.... And if I can, is it ethical to do so. Any insight would be appreciated! thanks! You need a property release if the number plate can be seen. No professional organisation will accept people shots without a model release a Source(s): i do it i believe you can. unless you commit tresspass to get the photo, becaus4e the car or building is in public view. |
