Camera question!Will a 3 mega pixel camera be good enough?

I want a new digital camera for Christmas and I want to know if a 3 mega pixel camera would be a good choice.
This is the camera I'm thinking of getting:

I ONLY plan to use it for e-mail and internet use only (no prints)

If you're not going to be using it for prints then a 3mp camera will be fine. The only time you really need any more than that is if you plan on printing out 5 x 7 or bigger pics.

depends on how big u want the pictures to be id day its perfect for internet use if your not printing

Hi Tyler. I've been told that if you're gonna invest in a digital camera, to go for at least 4 pixels for nice quality. But, I'm sure if you decide to go for the 3 pixel, you'll be kool too.

MP whise, the camera is fine since you arent printing with it.

But the fact that it has only Digital zoom is no good, meaning that if you were to zoom in all the way, your quality would be that of a 1.5 MP camera.

I say try looking at some others.

3 MPs is enough, I use a 3.2 MP and have to downsize my images.
