I looked for a digital camera in the digital camera section of ebay under the "point and shoot" sub section.
I wanted something easy and cheap so my dad who麓s not very close to this things could learn how to use a digital camera.
I found this item:

I thought it would be a nice "toy" since it had the chance to use film too.
I asumed it was a digital camera for been under that section, but when item arrived I realized that was not a digital camera, but a regular ugly film camera, with a radio AM / FM on the side.
It is described as a "new open box photo camera" but it is not new either.
What should I do about it?
pd: I know I didn麓t pay that much money for it, but I feel scammed about, specially because I couldn麓t even give it to my dad as I wanted in the beguining. Before you retaliate, contact the seller and explain the issue you're having. It's quite possible that you will be able to find an amicable solution to the matter.
If you're unable to work something out with the seller, you can leave negative feedback, for which the seller will likely retaliate with their own negative feedback; or you can open a complaint with eBay, which may be the best course if the seller is uncooperative. give the person a bad rating and scolding comments
and also paypal says it has a 200 dollar buyer protection near the bottom of the page; check that out.
But if it doesn't work out for you, at least it was only $20? :/ you can file a dispute with ebay if you think you didn't received the item the way it was described.

The ad never mentions anything about it being digital, and even says in the title that it's a 35mm camera. So really if you were to file a dispute it probably wouldn't end up working out in your favor. |
