Which sony make handy cam is best?

My budget is from Rs.20,000 to 25,000 and looking for a handycam which can be used as "Digital Camera" also. Please suggest me. Also provide feedback of same product from other brands But in same price range. Please give your feedback and suggettion on following SONY version 1) CCD-TRV238E,2)DCR-TRV 258E,3)DCR-HC36E,4)DCR-HC46E,5)DCR-DVD60... . Which one from above I shoould buy?

What is the differenc between "Sony mini DV Handycan","Sony mini DVD handycam" & "Sony TRV Handycam"?

You could buy either the HC36 (0.5 Mega pixel) or the HC46 model (1 Mega pixel). In my opinion, you would need to buy a camcorder that is atleast 3.3 Mega pixel or better to take still photographs with reasonable clarity.

Personally I own the Panasonic mini DV GS 180 model. It is a 3 Colour CCD model. Even the night shots taken using this camcorder are great.

Currently this model is now available on a 3 year warranty and costs around Rs 27K to Rs 30K

There are also cheaper models available in the price range of Rs 15K onwards.
