What is the best thing to use for making a video for DVD? |
We have to make a 2 minute (min.) video for class. Now, here's my problem... last time we had a video project, it went fine, but getting it onto the computer for editing and burning to DVD took forever to do. Finally we got it on, only by going to my mom's work office. Even then it took a really long time and was complicated. What is the best thing to use? If I use a digital camera (not a camcorder) for taking the video, it would certainly be simpler, but would it work on a television when its burned onto a DVD? using teh camera sounds easier, but a camcorder will give you best picture. a camera isnt good at taking video, and it will even be worse when you put it on dvd. itll probalby stretch it A LOT. use your camcorder and use a firewire cable up upload it. i do not recommend movie maker since the software thinks you're going to keep the video on your computer(thus make it small). it will be very ugly if you put it on DVD. use pinnacle or somethign liek taht. thing is, you'll probably have to get a software if you want a good picture. then again it's only a two min. video so you might not want buy a $60+ software. using the firewire cable guarantees your computer will recognize the device. when you use usb, a lot of softwares that dont recognize and support your camcorder wont let you upload. good luck The frame rate on most digital cameras is too low and won't look as good as video from a camcorder. You can download 30 day trial versions of video editing programs from www. download.com ok you might just want to use piniccle or vegas video two best editing programs eva |
