How do I upload my photos for Ebay purposes? |
I have set up my account on Ebay and successfully compleated everything else required but when I click on Browse to select the photo to be added to the thumbnail it all goes pear-shaped and no image appears on the thumbnail. I have used a digital camera but I must admit that I am by no means a computer high flyer so if you could use simple terms to teach an idiot then I would be most appreciated. well you do have a a minor problem.E-bay wizard is supposed to handle all that for you but seems to have fallen down on the job. Try contacting e-bay and tell them what it is doing and see if they can help you at all. I have never had this problem with the photo upload wizard on e-bay. so sorry I could not help you futher. also check in the FAQ and see if it has a listing for it.just type in photo upload problems. Also make sure the digital photo has a JPG or or jpeg extension. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is that your camera saves the pictures in a file format that EBay doesn't recognize. Check in your camera program what the file extension is, you might have to "save as" something different than the camera's standard format. Sorry my friend I am too much of a computer dummy to know how do that too. But good luck to you!!!! I would say the file type you are trying to upload is not a format accepted by eBay. Try to change it to jpg. Also, try making the file size smaller. The file may just be too big, may just be taking a real long time to upload, or eBay may have a file size limit. |
