Okay, so I'm doing a project for one of my classes. I'm making a commercial using my computer and I need to be able to play it on a VHS tape in class. I would just do a DVD, but you never know when they will decide not to work on different machines at school [i've had problems before] and this is project is worth a lot of points toward my grade. Also, I don't have an actual tape recorder or camcorder or whatever, I used a digital camera to get my footage. I do, however, have both a VCR & a DVD player. So I need to know how I can convert DVD to VHS If the DVD you created plays on your DVD player, it will more likely than not play on any DVD player. A good idea would be to use the DVD for your initial presentation media...if the DVD doesn't play, you can use a tape as backup. Just connect the outgoing connections on the DVD player to the incoming connections on the VCR. Then all you have to do is put your DVD and VHS tape in, press play on the DVD player and record on the VCR. I keep trying it this way, but I keep on Recording what's on the TV, instead of what's on the DVD. Help? Report It
