hi! so i just got my new digital camera (which did not come with a memory card but has a small amount of built in memory) i let my brother use it, which he used to record a video. He must have made it too long? because now it says that the memory is full but my camera is not letting me delete anything and (WORSE!) is not letting me take any pictures! any quick fixes? plug it up to your computer to upload the video. If it doesnt work you could get a memory card. They are relatively inexpensive. (Sandisk is the best) Well, your camera should have come with a mini USB cable. So, plug it into the camera and then into the USB port on your PC and upload whatever is on the camera.
"READ THE MANUAL" to help you if you are unsure. Read it thoroughly step by step.
Also, as BMac says...buy yourself a memory card because the camera has only a tiny amount of built in memory that is completely useless and will only take a handful of photos.
I also recommend Sandisk as the best brand (the Ultra II).
You need to buy at least 512MB as a minimum, which will give you plenty of room for photos and little 'videos'. Just remember that 'videos' eat up memory fast, so 512MB will only let your record about 4 minutes of video. A better option is a 1GB card(which are quite cheap now).
Don't forget that when you use the card for the first time, you should format it first (in the camera). Read the manual always...to help you step by step. |
