I have lots of black and white negatives (showing images taken from a microscope). I want to make digital copies of these images, in the past I have used a digital camera attached to a light box to take photos. However this camera is now broken and when I use our scanner to scan in the images they come out too dark.
I need a scanner which shines light through the negative and takes the image from the top. I'm not to bothered about fancy resolution or anything as I'm not making pictures just storing the images. There seems to be a large range of very confusing choices, so any suggestions of a good cheap model. you need a special attachment for your scanner that will alow the light to pass through your negative contact your scanner supplier for where to get one if one is available.
