I downloaded a series of photos from a FinePix A201 digital camera using my HP PSC 2175 all in one printer. Now I have the file Album.PMV that I can not open. Once I selected "Open With" and began trying programs Windows stopped asking me if it wanted me to search the web for appropriate programs to open it. Now I don't know how to get Windows to ask me that again so I can say YES and let it search nor do I know where to search myself for a program to allow me to open a PMV file. HELP You can go to http://filext.com/ and on the left-hand side, there is a search box. Without periods in your extention, type it in there and click search. For example you would type PXM in the search box instead of .PXM . After it searches and brings up the list, click on the link that has been rated most likely. Now, click on the company link. When you arrive at the company site, find a download link for the extension type (You may have to search around a bit). After you have downloaded the extension type, then follow the directions on the site to install. |
