How can I download pictures from my memory card? |
My digital camera uses a 'Memory Stick PRO Duo' ultra II memory card. My computer doesn't have a port for this cards, but I need to download some pictures. Oh and my camera doesn't have a USB port. Any advice.... thanks! Bonnie you need to buy a memory card reader that plugs into your USB port. Even Walmart has them. Your camera does not need a USB plug on it. Just take out your card and plug into the reader. :^) If you have an USB port, just get a multicard reader (they're very cheap, like 7 bucks or so at almost any major department/electronics store) and plug it in. Just drag files from the memorystick using Mycomputer (pc) or click on the icon (mac) and put it on the computer. You need a card reader which can be bought cheaply from computer and electronic stores. some printer also have an inbuilt card reader example BROTHER MFC-620CN Are you sure it doesn't have ANY sort of port? My Nikon digital doesn't have a USB port, but it does have a tiny port (don't know the name) and a cable, one end of which plugs into that tiny port and the other is a USB plug. If this is your case, too, you just need the cable. Mine came with the cable, but if yours didn't, go to a camera store that sells your brand and get one there. multicard reader....wal-mart....$20 |
