I'm an idiot and didn't check what video file format my new digital camera uses. Turns out that it records video in Quicktime, so I am not able to use these videos in any videos that I am editing together myself.
Ideally, I am looking for some way to easily convert the Quicktime video files that my camera generates into something that Windows likes better, like WMV or AVI. My far second choice would be some program like Windows Movie Maker that would let me use Quicktime videos.
Oh, and, of course, this is just for putting together family videos, so ideally these would be free apps. try plato video converter or try okoker all video converter & burner |
