I have a 1 GB SD Memory card but I can't copy more than 156 MB to it. Help!?

I am trying to copy files from my hard drive to a SD Memory card. I have 2 SanDisk SD 1 GB Memory cards and 1 Kingston SD 512 MB card.

I have tried with two methods:
a) Put the memory card in digital camera. Use USB cable between camera & computer.
b) Put the memory card in a digital picture frame. Use USB came between picture frame & computer.

I am trying to transfer 184 pictures with a file size of 179 MB.

On all 3 memory cards, it is getting stuck after 155 files have been transferred. It says the Memory Disk is full after 157 MB.
It always gets stuck on one file, but this file is only 569 KB.
The message says "The disk in the destination drive is full. Insert a new disk to continue." (Retry/Cancel)

Once it gets to this point, it won't let me copy ANY additional files to the disk. So it isn't just a case of there being one bad file.

What is going on? Why is it saying the disk is full after 157 MB on all three of these memory cards??

Thank you!

It may have corruption on the allocation table, try reformating the memory card and start again.
