I would like to take pictures on my web camera,but I was wondering if I have to use the video conference to do so.does anyone know how I can take pictures of myself without using video conference.I use a Optimus Digital 5:0.I followed the instructions such as Connect the Camera to your computer then turn on the computer.the usb mode screen appears on the lcd screen then I select web camera with the zoom lever and press the record button.I follow those instructions only to get a black screen.if anybody can help me please do.thanks. yes...some webcams have a "shutter" button you can use for snapshots...with others, you may have to use the webcam's software to do that well it should work like this

Scroll Down to the Scanners and Camera
open it and there should be an option for takeing a picture and viola you have yourslef. |
