I do own a Kodak camera. A lot of the frames seem to need subscriptions of some sort to use them. I don't believe these do. I've got a Kodak SV811 which is an 8" frame and it looks wonderful! I compared it side-by-side with a generic brand 7" frame at WalMart and was shocked by the difference in quality. I put my SD card in it so they were the same photos.
You can load pictures into the frame from your computer or put them on a memory card and insert the card into the slot on the back of the frame. I'm not sure what a subscription to anything would be needed.
